Service Description
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may find yourself struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma, grief, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. You don't have to face these challenges alone. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of your experiences at your own pace. My aim is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to explore whatever has brought you to therapy. As a relational integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to you rather than expecting you to fit one particular approach. Together we explore how your past experiences, relationships, and life events may be influencing the way you think, feel, and respond today. By developing a deeper understanding of yourself, you can begin to create lasting and meaningful change. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, low confidence, low self-worth, childhood trauma, attachment wounds, relationship difficulties, life transitions, loss, emotional overwhelm, and the lasting impact of difficult experiences. I have a particular interest in inner child work, helping clients understand how early experiences can continue to shape their adult lives with compassion rather than self-criticism. Alongside counselling, I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that can help process traumatic or distressing memories that may feel "stuck." EMDR can be helpful for childhood trauma, PTSD, abuse, accidents, bereavement, anxiety, and other overwhelming life experiences. I believe therapy isn't about being judged or "fixed." It's about being understood, discovering the reasons behind your patterns, and finding new ways of relating to yourself and others. Healing happens when we feel safe enough to be seen as we truly are. Whether this is your first experience of therapy or you're returning after time away, you will be met with empathy, curiosity, and respect. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you move towards greater self-understanding, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
